Qidi X-Max : X-Carriage : V6 Retrofit

To All, I'm sorry for not being able to keep up with responses lately. Things got busy, and I just haven't had the time to keep an eye on this project. We've had some good luck with this printer retrofit so far, and overall, I think it's an improvement over stock. However, there's still a lot of adjusting, tuning, programming, etc. to be done to make it perfect. I wouldn't generally recommend doing this unless you're really interested in the process rather than just the end result. If I were to do it all over again, I'd probably have just gotten a nicer 3D printer from Modix instead of trying to retrofit my QIDI X-Max. Since time has become pretty scarce and valuable for me lately, I won't be updating or watching this thing anymore. But I highly encourage anyone interested to take the files provided and run with them. Sorry I couldn't be more helpful to people looking forward to this project, but good luck! I designed this to replace what I consider a poorly designed hotend on the QIDI X-Max (it might be the same for other QIDI printers, but I'm not entirely sure). This design allows you to mount an E3D V6 hotend and a Flexion extruder. Required Items: High Temp Filament (carbon fiber nylon recommended) E3D V6 Hotend (24v) Flexion Extruder (or similar; you may need to print a mount for the extruder motor if going with a different extruder) Extruder Motor off Qidi or purchased separately 24v 5015 fan off Qidi or purchased separately 4x M3 x 20 1x M3 x 16 8x M3 x 12 3x M3 x 10 2x M3 x 8 7x M3 Nut 8x M3 Square Nut (I got "Honbay" on Amazon) Wire or cables to extend hotend wires to motherboard Optional items: Upgrade motherboard to a Duet2Wifi BLTouch auto bed leveling sensor A Cable Chain and Chain Guide as shown in the render Heatsink for extruder motor (super optional)
