This is a replacement for the exterior spool mount of the Qidi X-Max (and maybe X-Plus). The original holder relied on the spool rotating on the stationary tube, which wasn't very smooth with cardboard spools. This replaces the original setup with two pins holding the crosspiece via two 608zz bearings. The holder then spins with the spool, greatly reducing friction. The tube is the same diameter as the original so you can reuse the original locating things. Honestly you'd be better off using Humebeam's design (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4684175), I just didn't see it until after I made this.
