To upgrade this assembly, first detach the extruder carriage and carefully slice off the right-hand side as depicted in order to eliminate the original cooling duct intake. This modification will not only delete the initial cooling duct inlet but also replace the extruder cover due to its substantial thickness, which can serve as a surface for the X-axis limit switch to push against.
