When I began printing, I relied on the standard stock bed and often found myself scraping glue/plastic off the print bed after prints. During this process, some pieces of plastic would detach from the print bed and fall into the small hole underneath, leaving a dirty trail on the underside area that I wished to keep clean. To minimize the mess, I designed and created this wire hide cover. Print Settings Printer: QIDI Tech Rafts: It doesn't matter. Supports: Yes. Resolution: 0.12 mm. Infill: 30%. Notes: These parts were printed in ABS with three shell layers, seven top and bottom layers. The infill was set to 30% and the layer height was 0.12 mm. Feel free to adjust these settings as needed. Post-Printing This cover is engineered for easy installation without disconnecting any cable connectors. Simply press-fit the plug into the hole. However, due to minor dimensional discrepancies in the printer's wire hole cutout on the sheet metal, you might need to file a small amount of plastic to ensure a perfect fit. I printed this design multiple times to guarantee that it would work seamlessly with my printer without requiring any sanding.
