Qidi Tech / Flashforge Creator Pro Body Panel Corner Cap / Saver / Cover
thingiverse
I designed this modification because a gap existed at the top of the printer in the sheet metal corners. I had once dropped a screw down there and it bothered me, so I came up with a solution to address the issue. These parts may also help keep heated air inside the printer since they seal off gaps where heat can escape from the corners when printing ABS. Although I haven't tested this theory yet, it seems sound because my hand got hot while holding it over those areas during the printing process. They could provide additional frame strength as well, but I'm uncertain if that's necessary. The standard part is intended for the two front corners and back left corner. The piece with a section cutout is designed specifically for the back right corner because the bearing mount obstructed my original part on my machine. Printer Settings Printer: QIDI Tech Rafts: None Supports: None Resolution: 0.12mm Infill: 30% Notes: Printed in ABS with 3 outer layers and 7 top and bottom layers. My infill for these parts was 30% and layer height 0.12mm; you can modify those settings to suit your preferences. Post-Printing Parts fit snugly into the frame corner holes due to a press fit.
