Qidi Tech 1 - magnetic door stop
thingiverse
Tired of the floppy door on your Qidi Tech 1? Print these stops out and drop in an 8mm magnet - the door will no longer vibrate when printing nor will it swing into the interior of the printer. 2 versions are available: one has the magnet hole facing the printer, while the other has it on the outside. I opted to use the outside version since the neodymium magnets I used are rather strong. They pressed into place without needing glue. To attach these stops to your printer's handle, you'll need longer screws. If you still have the little spare parts box that came with your printer, there should be 2 slightly longer ones that fit into the handle. Designed with 123d Design. Files included so you can adjust the magnet opening for different size magnets. The screw holes are a bit tight, while the indentation where the handle fits is a little loose since the holes may not be perfectly centered. Print Settings: Printer: Qidi Tech 1 Rafts: Doesn't Matter Supports: Yes Resolution: 0.2 mm Infill: 20% Notes: Depending on which version you print and how you orient it on your print bed, supports may not be necessary.
