Qidi Tech 1 Magnet door latch

These parts drew inspiration from two distinct designs. Side Doors https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2141497, and the front door https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2010762 sparked my creativity. The side door latches required modification because my magnets were 8mm in diameter, which didn't match the knobs on my printer that had a larger base. So I redesigned it from scratch using Solidworks. The shape of the original design by ITinSeattle won me over. The front door was likely fine as is, but I wanted to put my own spin on it. I appreciated the design by DiedTrying, though. I printed these parts out using Simplify3D and a raft because I love how flat they make the finished products on all of my printers. If only I had thought to adjust the distance between the raft and the part for a cleaner separation. You'll notice the lines on the bottoms. The SolidWorks part files are included so you can modify the objects however you see fit. It's crucial that you print these parts in green, just like I did. This color makes them look fantastic and adds an extra touch of class!
