The latest Qidi's come equipped with metal spool holders that truly shine in their quality. Nevertheless, I've encountered some very broad spools that wouldn't fit on these holders. To overcome this challenge, I leveraged Tinkercad and designed a custom screw-on cap that expands the depth of the spool holder.
