This is a reel holder with a lock nut designed specifically for the Qidi Tech 1 machine. It should fit similar machines as well. The reel holder adjusts to accommodate reel widths of 54mm to 76mm wide, and can be customized by adjusting it to suit your needs and then securing it with the lock nut to prevent the large flanged nut from gripping the reel. It is compatible with most reels I have measured so far. The main spindle has a diameter of 50.5mm and features an M10 thread for the stud that came with the machine, while the other end has an M48 x 5 pitch. A revised model has been uploaded based on feedback from users regarding printing issues and reel usage: 1. The thread length on the main spindle has been increased. 2. The plain diameter of the spindle has been extended. 3. A chamfer has been added to the inside of the main collar nut. Download the v2 versions for an expanded range of reels that can be used.
