This is an adapter for where the Bowden tube fits into the filament detector. My unit was always breaking one filament when printing on the other extruder too much. The Bowden tube moves too much and cracks the filament. Then the Bowden tube will fall into the print volume and drag around, possibly ruining the print. Qidi has since created a newer filament detector with a deeper 'socket' and that is what i'm using for my adapter. I have a solution for the short one as well included in here. I have included STL and STEP files incase you want/need to modify the body of either part.
