Qidi i-fast Build Plate Spacer kit

I have been experiencing some layer shifting with some of my prints and noticed that the bed could move a slight amount during a print. I have noticed this rarely but when it happens it can wreak havoc on your final print. These spacers eliminate this issue. The top spacer has a recessed ring into the top to index the spring into. the flat part was added for clearance for the rear post so make sure you have it facing towards the back of the printer. This also reduces vibrations as the bed rides on the springs and they are slightly weaker than they could be which allow any vibrations to be transmitted through the bed. This mod stiffens everything up so the vibrations would be reduced as much as possible. You will not have this problem if you print these and add them. Save yourself the hassle and wasted filament, time and energy on a bad print you couldn't control. If you end up overextruding, use a 5/16" drill bit backwards by hand to carefully enlarge the hole. You should be able to slide the parts on and off the bolts that secure the buildplate to the frame. The larger spacer fits between the adjustment knob and the frame, the smaller one sits below the spring. Remove all knobs to insert the top spacers into position. The springs will fit into them and hold them in place while you align the bolts that secure the buildplate to the frame. Here is a link to a video showing these printed.
