QiDi GoPro Camera Quick Mount Clip

This is a Go Pro Quick Clip mount designed for use with GoPro cameras and QiDi 3D printers. It has undergone several updates, including thinning down the center rib slightly on August 17th, 2016, and reprinting in a different orientation for added strength. Print Settings: Printer: QiDi Resolution: 0.3mm Infill: 100% Notes: Printed with MG Crystal PLA at 230C/60C, using 6 top, 6 bottom, and 4 outside layers. A raft and supports were used, with the print orientation having the U-top of the clip facing down on the bed. After fracturing a depending flange on one of these prints, I changed the print orientation to put the flange flat down on the print bed. Using standard PLA at 210/60 and 0.12mm/layer, I printed with 9 top, 9 bottom, and 7 outside layers at 100% infill, without a raft but with supports required. This new orientation took much longer to print, but the resulting part was significantly stronger. Post-Printing: Carve away the supports, which should release easily if set up correctly. Test the camera mount half of the clip with this piece to ensure it fits and understand the force needed to engage and disengage the pieces. I've printed two of these, and both were stiff fits that required no modifications or sanding. This object combines a GoPro camera mount remix from mark133 and a flange mounted utility bin for the QiDi 3D printer from cncartist. Many thanks go out to both creators.
