To achieve a secure fit, utilize flexible material for the ring that interlocks with the top section once pressed into place in the recess. I suggest limiting the bottom layers to three and infill to five percent. Print the housing as desired without any supports, orienting it upside down on the print bed. For my model, I used PETG Vertigo Gray filament. The duct accommodates 3mm USB cables.
