This hack is a must-have for anyone who loves using their iPhone or Android's wireless QI charging feature. The IKEA MORIK charging assembly is designed to be mounted into a tabletop, making it nearly useless unless you're willing to drill holes in your furniture. That's why I created this bracket assembly, which accepts the MORIK from behind and holds your phone securely as an under-cabinet mount while it charges. I built mine for use in my workshop and mounted it proudly, but there's no reason you can't install it at the back of a cabinet and keep it out of sight. The MORIK unit also offers a spare USB charge port on the side, perfect for charging another device or powering non-QI devices. The model comes in two parts for easy printing, and all you need to do is glue the adapter ring to the back of the unit. To prevent phone case scuffing over time, I added some sticky felt to the design.
