QFH Antenna for 145mhz
thingiverse
Some parts for a QFH antenna I created. I engineered it for 145mhz for ISS, and amateur radio operations. It works perfectly for satcom or APRS use. It even performs well with NOAA APT sats. It is mounted on fiberglass mast at about 20ft high. The SWR is suitable for transmitting across most of the 2m band frequencies. NA8E Instructions I utilized this QFH Calculator: http://www.jcoppens.com/ant/qfh/calc.en.php This antenna was constructed using 1" PVC as a base and 3/4" PVC for horizontal spacers. I fastened the PVC parts with M3 screws, and employed RG8/U elements. One panel mount SO-239 connector was also utilized.
