QFH antenna 137MHz for NOAA
grabcad
Quadrifilar Helix Antenna used to receive satellite imagery from the NOAA satellite constellation. Typically used with a raspberry Pi and the Raspi-NOAA software to automatically capture satellite passes (https://github.com/jekhokie/raspberry-noaa-v2). The antenna is based of of RPis official guide to getting such a sustem set up: https://www.raspberrypi.com/tutorials/build-your-own-weather-satellite-receiving-station/. I have modified it to fit the material i had at hand (using solid copper wire (~3mm OD) and a 50mm OD PVC tube). I printed these parts in a PC/ABS mix to better withstand the outdoors. I have included the Fusion 360 design files so you can make adjustments to whatever materials you have at hand.Cheers,Adrian
