qavs custom walksnail parts
thingiverse
a collection of 3d printed parts i used for my qavs walksnail build most parts a self explanatory. some a very specific to my build. all are printed in petg without supports. probably a good idea to print atleast the antenna holder out of tpu. vtx, camera spacer and lock ------------------------------- * qavs-ws-20to25.scad * qavs-ws-antenna.scad * qavs-ws-cam.scad * qavs-ws-camlock.scad there is a stack adapter, that brings up the vtx enough to route camera cable over the stack without much bending. also it leaves enough room to mount a small reciever beneath. a 19mm camera does not fit between the sideplates of a qavs, i designed a washer that goes between cam and plate. for the outside i designed another washer with pegs to lock the camera in place its customizable to any degree you want, but defaults to 22.5° i used four m2 6mm screws. removing middle standoff / buzzer --- * qavs-ws-deletemiddlestandoff.scad * qavs-buzzer.scad couldnt install the middle standoff to mount the front of the backhalf of the topplate, because my stack was to big. designed a bracket for a threaded insert and glued it to the front half of the topplate. time will tell if this is a good solution, probably gonna brace the two halfs with a scrap piece of carbon and epoxy. a buzzer was mounted behind the camera, where the standoff would have been. elrs 868mhz / frsky r9 mount --- * qavs-r9-antenna.scad using the 20x20 mounting options of the frame, the antenna gets clamped down with a bracket to the underside of the quad
