QAV250 motor mount extensions - Various angles - Run 6" props AND shift your COG forward or back. First, let me clarify that these are not tilted motor mounts to angle your motors forward. Instead, they're flat extensions with various angles in relation to the arm, which can be 0, 15, or 30 degrees. The 30-degree mounts are angled at 30 degrees relative to the arms, making them perpendicular to the body. The straight extensions follow the same angle as the arms, while the 15-degree mounts allow you to mount motors 15 degrees forward or backward. The pictures showcase this concept better than my words can convey. Since I haven't seen similar products available anywhere, and testing has shown they work well, I thought others might benefit from these motor mount extensions. Currently, I'm running perpendicular front mounts and 15-degree angled mounts in the rear, which shifts the COG back by approximately 10mm. This setup enables me to run larger batteries without putting additional weight or strain on the rear motors. There are multiple options available with these extensions to allow you to shift your COG either forward or backward. Of course, you can also choose all four mounts of the same type - for example, four straight mounts, or four 30-degree mounts perpendicular to the body and run 6-inch props without shifting your COG. There are two versions of each type: one with an integrated motor guard and the other without. I use the ones with motor guards, but most people will likely do the same; if you prefer not to have guards for some reason, that option is available. These extensions are 4mm thick and should be printed at 100% infill to ensure they're sturdy enough. While they may break under very hard impacts, they tend to absorb the force first, which often saves the carbon fiber arms from damage (not always, though - I broke an extension and a CF arm on my last outing when the quad dropped from about 30 feet straight onto concrete). **EDIT: Video added of my first test flight with the extensions** https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U_T3IOoqans
