I was able to print it perfectly by rotating it on its side, just like in one of those pictures that showed up. Using a raft with a grid setting in Cura worked well, especially when printing in PLA at a layer height of 0.2mm. It all came out great and removed from the raft and support pieces pretty easily as well.
