This is a solution for the O3 camera not fitting the stock parts. Joshua Bardwell is machining new standoffs and as a machinist, naturally I will buy them. But for now this tpu mount replaces the standoffs and carbonfiber pieces. The camera is as far forward as I can get it while still giving it enough protection. Since the standoffs are removed Ive designed the holes to accept half inch long motor screws and the holes are slighty undersized for better bite. Im using stock screws on bottom and motor screws on top. In the event of an impact the top plate is going to hit first so the mount is a triangle which will reinforce the top plate. The screws keep things aligned but the real strength comes from the zip ties which take advantage of the slots for the carbon pieces. It is mostly hollow but it is no flimsy print. Although this is a temp solution it is robust. Its designed for the angle I fly but for those that need higher uptilt it can be had. Just take a razor and cut out the top bridge. The camera will be free to move, pivoting on the bottom camera screw. I like my cameras mounted low so I can put my chin on the pavement when I fly low so I have placed the camera as low as I can while still giving it full free range of motion from 25deg and up. (V2 update- Ive modified it slightly for those who want lower cam angle. I prefer the camera be held captive on all sides so the file will still print with the top bridge. The bridge is what prevents the camera from being able to rotate. Cut the bridge with a razor for full up or down tilt or leave the bridge for locked cam angle. The V1 file only has more uptilt.)
