I preferred the QAV mount but wanted it tighter, so I opted for the QAV-R instead, despite them being essentially the same. The EMAX 2205 motors require some inlet holes since they draw air from the bottom. Light sanding may be necessary due to the 3mm bolts that come with the motors not being long enough. Adding 1.5mm of local thickness will result in a sturdy design. It's recommended to print multiple mounts so you have spares when needed, as these mounts are designed to take hits on trees or the ground, protecting your motors.
