Back with another 3-position cam mount designed specifically for the Lumenier QAV-R and similar models. This innovative solution fits around the front standoffs, utilizing the middle side plate holes to achieve precise angles. Positioned on the fly at 10, 25, or 40 degrees, this versatile mount provides flexibility and convenience. Compatible with lenses featuring an outside diameter of 17.5mm, which includes most 2.1 or 2.5 lens models. Two distinct versions are available, as depicted in the accompanying photos: A full-notch design allows for a seamless fit over the front of the standoffs, requiring no modifications to the QAV-R. However, removing the top plate may be necessary due to the slight compression fit of the lens holes, which secure the cam firmly in place. In contrast, the not fully notched version slides over the standoffs, offering a more secure fit. To ensure proper alignment, users will need to sand approximately 1mm from the front of the side plates, allowing for a snug fit within the top and bottom plate. While the fully notched version appears remarkably stable, even in the event of a severe crash, it was still an easy design decision to create this enclosed version.
