sketchfab
Humans first uncovered an early draft of the wreck as part of the Qatar Marine Archaeology Project 2017, a collaborative effort between the Maritime Antiquities Taskforce, Qatar Museums, Qatar University and the University of York. The wreck site measures 50 meters in length and 20 meters in width, with scale and directional markers to follow. Recordings took place on May 11th, 2017 using two Nikon D7000 DSLR cameras and Orcalight Seawolf lighting during a single 35-minute dive that yielded 1,600 images. Further findings from this project will be shared soon.
