A cervical vertebra from the 7th segment has been discovered in Qasr Hallabat, Jordan, where it had lain undisturbed within a cistern for centuries. The relic dates back to the 8th through 10th centuries AD. To recreate this element with precision, East Carolina University collaborated closely with the Department of Antiquities of Jordan under an ongoing loan agreement, employing cutting-edge techniques in 3D modeling and photography.
