This ancient mandible was unearthed from a cistern within the historic site of Qasr Hallabat in Jordan, with an estimated age spanning across the 8th to 10th centuries AD. Advanced 3D modeling and photography techniques were employed under the terms of permanent loan agreement No. XXXX between the Department of Antiquities of Jordan and East Carolina University.
