thingiverse
Bought a Q680 from Hobbyking? Feeling overwhelmed by the task of mounting things to it? Fear not, I've navigated the process so you don't have to. The kit includes: Landing Gear Kit designed for 5.4mm (marked .210") Carbon Fiber (The previous version was tested with 8mm; the new 5.4mm version has yet to be tried) Battery Retainer Kit for select batteries (Functional and tested) Modified TBS Discovery Brushless GoPro Gimbal Parts (Stock parts are taken directly from NATHAN_'s design, but some were modified to work with a 16mm motor) (Not yet tested) To set up the electronics correctly, check the instructions that follow. --- Required parts: Landing Gear: * 5.4mm (marked .210") Carbon Fiber or similar sturdy rod * 4x leg joint, 2 normal and 2 mirrored * 2x landing gear mount, including 1 for use with the gimbal if you choose to add it * 1x landing gear gimbal mount Instructions are coming soon. Battery Holder: * 1" or smaller velcro, cut to size * 4 4-40 bolts and matching nuts * 1x battery base * 2x battery holder Note: The battery holder only works with batteries that measure 142x49x43mm or smaller. Larger batteries will not fit. If you require a quadcopter with an unusually long endurance or want to use a smaller battery, let me know and I can modify the parts accordingly. Instructions are coming soon. Gimbal: * 2x Brushless motor * 1x gimbal controller * 1x Gopro Hero 3/4 * 4x shock dampener thingies (You will find them at Amazon.com) * If you plan to add the gimbal, make sure to already have added the landing gear gimbal mount. * 1x motor plate (Stock part) * 1x camera holder (12 or 16mm - choose one) * 1x gimbal arm (12 or 16mm - pick yours) Instructions will follow soon-ish. Still haven't bought a Q680? Check out my own build to see what I used for mine.
