myminifactory
The Q3D 220 is designed specifically for the 5" prop class with 3D printing in mind, perfect for FPV Racing enthusiasts. Key features of this frame include an X arm design that allows top mounting of lipo batteries, providing an excellent center of gravity. Additional features include SMA and battery lead mounting holes for easy access and vtx swapping, as well as zip-tie holes for secure esc mounting. This frame can be built in two configurations: a 22mm internal cavity or a 30mm internal cavity. To complete the 22mm version, you will need 16 M3 x 30mm bolts and 16 M3 Lock Nuts. For the 30mm version, you'll require 16 M3 x 40mm bolts and 16 M3 Lock Nuts. The Q3D 220 can be printed using a variety of materials, but ABS is highly recommended for optimal results. For those interested in witnessing the frame's capabilities, flight video of its maiden flight is available on YouTube.
