Q11 INPUT & TOGGLE Plates

Q11 Jack Input Plate These input plates are designed specifically for use with my Combo Amp and Extension Speakers. One hole is tailored to accept a standard ¼” Phono Jack, while the other hole accommodates a heavy-duty toggle switch. The blank space on this plate leaves it up to you to decide how to utilize it. You can add your own text, change the hole sizes for alternative purposes, or completely redesign it to suit your needs. The jackport is intended to serve as a switching interface between using a passive 3-way crossover and simply utilizing the 10” speaker. The jackport ohms feature allows you to switch from an 8-ohm series configuration to a 2-ohm parallel setup for split-coil woofers by flipping a switch. The bodies of this design were created using FUSION 360, and I have included a STEP file for the blank version. Feel free to add your own text or modify the hole sizes as needed – have fun with it! You should be able to resize this plate or study its design to create a custom adaptation that suits your requirements. This input plate was sliced and coded using ReplicatorG, employing two shells (three total) made from PLA. I used a FlashForge Creator Pro 3D printer, similar to the Makerbot Replicator 2, with the following settings: * Heated bed temperature: 45°C * Blue painters tape on the bed for a smooth print surface * No additional treatment required * Print temperature: 220 degrees Celsius * Yes support with no rafts * Feedrate: 40 mm/s * Travel feedrate: 55 If you have any suggestions for optimizing these settings or know of better feedrates, please share your expertise. I'm eager to improve my sharing and make it more effective for everyone.
