The Rutan Quickie is a lightweight, single-seat taildragger aircraft built from composite materials, featuring tandem wings. Designed by Burt Rutan as an energy-efficient, low-powered kit-plane, it boasts a unique wing arrangement with an anhedral forward wing and a slightly larger dihedral rear wing. The former has full-span control surfaces, resembling a canard wing but being significantly bigger. Unusually, the main wheels of this aircraft are positioned at the tips of its forward wing.
