Q&D Brushed DC Speed Controller
thingiverse
Create a low-cost brushed DC speed controller by extracting servo internals from an old Hobby King TGY-S4505B servo for your Botmobile or similar RC setup, as demonstrated by Thingiverse user Luis. To do this, replace the potentiometer with two equal value resistors (usually 2.2k) and attach the desired brushed motor in place of the servo's DC motor. The motor speed will correspond to your RC controller's throttle setting. If you've modified a servo for continuous rotation, this process should be familiar as it involves similar steps without utilizing the servo's mechanical components.
