Update April 13, 2020 - Minor Adjustments for Easier Printing The Protective Mask Project has been updated to match the 3M filter series and other adapters in a wide range of collections. WARNING: This is not a substitute for medical protective equipment. The effectiveness of this project has not been tested. Use at your own risk. First, use certified protective measures. This project requires printing objects using 2-3 types of filament: PET-G BioFlex or similar Rubber (if you don't have BioFlex) Instead of BioFlex filament, you can use a slightly softer material. Recommended print settings: MASK-v4-A-BioFlex - 0.3mm, 1 piece MASK-v4-B-PETG-tree_supports - 0.3mm, 1 piece MASK-v4-C-PETG - 0.2mm, 3 pieces MASK-v4-D-PETG - 0.2mm/0.3mm, 1 piece MASK-v4-zaw-a-PETG - 0.2mm, 3 pieces MASK-v4-zaw-b-PETG - 0.2mm, 3 pieces MASK-v4-zaw-c-GUMA-BioFlex-PCV - 0.1mm, 3 pieces, recommended to cut from foil 50-125um or thin flat rubber. You can assemble the flexible "A" part with the dense "B" part using a thick adhesive, preferably with PZH approval. If not available, use a thick and elastic glue type "droplet gel". The parts "C" also require adhesion. In part "B", there is a groove where you should apply glue precisely without interruptions and press the parts. The front adhesion of parts "C" and "D" is optional and only in cases of using exhaled air filters. The parts "MASK-v4-zaw-a" and "MASK-v4-zaw-b" are designed to fit tightly together and with the main mask body, they are to be pressed. The part "F" is a seal if you want to use one side filter.
