Pédale / Pedal / Throttle gas with potentiometer for go kart, ride on, power wheel
thingiverse
I designed a pedal for a speed controller with a potentiometer because I needed one that was compact and didn't require any additional components. The pedal had to have a small footprint, similar to a toy car's, so I created this model, which is fully functional for my needs and works well with standard 10k potentiometers. The pedal's feedback force comes from a simple clothespin spring. All you need to make the pedal are a clothespin and a potentiometer. The design consists of four STL pieces: * Pedal base * Pedal top * Gear and rack that work together to actuate the potentiometer * Four axes (three useable, plus one spare in case one breaks during sanding) I printed the pedal on an Ender 3 Pro with a 50% infill. Due to its small size and thin pieces, you may want to print it with a 100% infill for added strength. Initially, I printed it lightly just to test my potentiometer size, but you can also use a cutter to enlarge the axis of the gear if needed to insert your potentiometer.
