In 1942, Germany developed a light reconnaissance tank called PzKpfw II Ausf L or Luchs (Lynx). Produced by MAN and Henschel from Sept 1943 to Jan 1944, only 104 units were made. Participating in Eastern and Western front battles, these tanks had additional armor on the Eastern Front and some served as radio/communication vehicles. The latest Luchs models featured a 50mm cannon KwK 39L/60. Proposed projects for recovery and anti-aircraft versions were never realized. Today, the Luchs is displayed at Bovington Tank Museum in England. To improve the model's rendering, increase texture resolution and place it in the designated folder.
