Python Programming Language Pin
thingiverse
A programmer is seeking one #0 safety pin for a project, requiring a pin length of 23mm x 5.5mm and a wire diameter of 0.5mm. A 35mm pin has been created using the Python programming language logo. The unibody version of the design has been uploaded, consisting of two parts: UniPinBase.obj. Alternatively, the components can be separated out into four parts: PinBase.obj. To assemble the model, superglue is recommended to join the parts together, resulting in a unique item to showcase at geek meetups. Assembly instructions are provided in the thumbnail image, but users may need to inspect the chamfers before assembly. If assembled incorrectly, it will still function, although brute force methods can be used. A FreeCAD 0.17 source file is included with the design, although it is described as a hack job.
