Python Logo Assembly

Python Logo Assembly

thingiverse

I dabble in on-the-side Python development at work, where it sparked an idea to craft a 3D Python logo as a desk ornament. Initially, I drew inspiration from another project found here on Thingiverse, but my printer faltered when attempting the pin assembly, prompting me to create my own remix and share it with others. The STL files are substantial in size, resulting in a massive logo measuring about 150 mm x 150 mm x 20 mm if printed at 100% scale. However, I opted for a 50% print of the original STLs, which yielded a more manageable size of approximately 70 mm x 70 mm x 10 mm. This reduced print time significantly, taking around 30 minutes per half and an additional 4 minutes for the connector. I explicitly state that this logo or Python icon does not belong to me, and I've used the logo SVG from the Python group solely to promote the language and its programming community. My intention is to encourage others to enjoy printing responsibly and appreciate the creative potential of 3D printing.
