Pythagorean Theorem Base with Screwholes
thingiverse
The fragile attachments holding the square and chain in place were constantly snapping off my foundation, forcing me to revamp it completely. To provide a more secure anchor point, I reworked the base by drilling strategically sized holes to accommodate precisely 2-56 diameter screws rather than those flimsy little tabs that kept coming loose. Only one part was upgraded: the base itself. The chain and square files remain untouched from their original form as designed by mshscott on http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:245202, and can be used straightaway for printing.
