Pyruvate Dehydrogenase Core
thingiverse
The dodecahedral enzyme from Azotobacter vinelandii is linked to pyruvate dehydrogenase's catalytic core, consisting of 24 identical proteins that form a cube structure. The human version of this enzyme creates a dodecahedron. Learn more about it here: http://www.rcsb.org/pdb/101/motm.do?momID=153. Its PDB code is 1eaa, and it was printed at 1/4 scale with KISSlicer's "dense" support option while decreasing the support flow rate to 70%. The natural ABS print was completed on an Ultimaker with a heated platform.
