I wanted to try out the pyropatch to make my goggles super compact. They cost 30 dollars, which isn't bad at all. Then I saw that another one costs 20 dollars, but it doesn't come with a 3D printed part. I asked myself, let's say I'm paid 10 dollars an hour, can I design that part in less than an hour? Well, the answer is no - it took me about 1 hour and 30 minutes. Then I started to fine-tune it. Anyway, it's done now and it's free. I added a revision called "THIS ONE" and it works pretty well, clips the PCB really good and won't fall out. I recommend you try it. Please note that the holes are tight, everything is tight - it's designed to be hand-drilled just a little bit. You use the original fan screws to mount the top section, then some M2 5-10mm long screws to mount everything. Enjoy! I hope this can help you save 10 dollars.
