Pyramidion de Bennebensekhauf
sketchfab
The pyramidion, originally situated atop the small pyramid over the owner's tomb, played a crucial role in the ancient Egyptian funerary cult. The four faces of this one are inscribed with prayers that permit the deceased to share the fate of the sun, or eternal rebirth, in the afterlife. This particular pyramidion originates from the tomb of an influential member of the Theban clergy during the 21st Dynasty, dating back around 1000 BC.
