Pyramid Stacker

The Pyramid Stacker is a precision-crafted storage solution that mirrors the exact dimensions of a real pyramid. It's a seamless series of easy-to-print layers that creates a multi-tiered storage system capable of accommodating an array of small to large items, limited only by the size of your build plate. This versatile storage system boasts a unique design that is perfect for storing everything from jewelry and electronic components to cables, Lego bricks, and other small toys or models. As you would expect from a pyramid-shaped storage solution, store smaller items towards the top and larger items towards the lower layers. The clever design of The Pyramid Stacker allows its layers to snap together securely when printed on an accurate machine, featuring a small tab on one face of each layer that facilitates easy opening and separation for storing or retrieving items. A critical factor in achieving excellent results is the need for clean prints with a flat base and good build plate adhesion. A range of configurations is provided, enabling users to choose from a single open space within the layer to having it divided into 2 or 4 equal 'chambers'. Each layer measures 30mm in height. For instance, to create a 3-layer Pyramid Stacker, print the top layer (L1), followed by the next layer down with a divider into 2 chambers (L2-2), and finally the bottom layer with 4 chambers (L3-4). To clarify further, the .stl files are referenced in this way: * L1 = Top * Layer 2: Approximately 96mm square + L2-1 = Open chamber one layer below the top + L2-2 = Chamber divided into two equal areas * Layer 3: Approximately 143mm square + L3-1 = Open chamber two layers below the top + L3-2 = Chamber divided into two equal areas + L3-4 = Chamber divided into four equal areas * Layer 4: Approximately 190mm square + L4-1 = Open chamber three layers below the top + L4-2 = Chamber divided into two equal areas + L4-4 = Chamber divided into four equal areas * Layer 5: Approximately 236mm square + L5-1 = Open chamber at the lowest possible layer + L5-2 = Chamber divided into two equal areas + L5-4 = Chamber divided into four equal areas The Pyramid Stacker parts are easy to print, requiring only clean prints up to the desired layer. On an accurate machine, the layers should snap together securely with a small amount of effort. To achieve optimal results, users need precise slicing software and an accurately set-up machine. This will affect the fit of one layer into another. However, if the prints don't join seamlessly, the joining edges or surfaces can be easily cleaned up with a craft knife, sandpaper, or a file until they do. If the joints are loose, simply refrain from inverting it to prevent the layers from separating. The Pyramid Stacker's classic design has captivated people worldwide, making it an ideal modular storage solution. Users can print just the top layer (L1) and one layer down (L2) for a compact storage facility or go all out and print the entire pyramid if their build plate allows it. This practical storage system is perfect for personal use or as a thoughtful gift. Print all layers in a single color or vary the coloring to help locate stored contents at a glance.
