This is the third version of my popular coin trap model! I designed this one to have zero severely sharp points or edges so it is good for younger people and it also has even more textile features than before! Here is an animation demonstrating the coin trap:This is printed in the same way most coin traps are printed (Instructions below if this is your first time! ;]). I did most of my test printing on a Monoprice Select Mini V2 that has a buildplate mod as well as an E3D Hemera. In every coin trap that I have published I have tried to add a bunch of textile features to add to the experience of playing with a coin trap. I wanted to attempt to do that and allow for easier handling of the coin. This was designed for a US ¼ Dollar or a 50 cent Euro coin (ie. the diameter of the sphere inside is roughly 26mm). Of course you can scale it to whatever size you need to make it fit other coins. Sorry for the ugly print on the left… I was experimenting with a homemade buildplate.INSTRUCTIONS:Use the included .gcode or slice your own using these instructions. If you are using a printer with a manual idler then I would lift the idler and purge a few mm out  of the nozzle before resuming the print after the pause. If you are using a Prusa or a machine that doesn't have a very easy to manipulate idler, I also designed a purge tower that I used to purge the empty space that forms during the pause. Use a modifier or specific setting to make the tube have 0% infill to make sure it will not use a ton of filament. MAKE SURE TO SLICE THE FILE SO THAT THE COLOR CHANGE IS THE TOP OF THE PURGE TOWER!!! This makes the purge tower the most efficient. It should be at the 19mm mark :-)NOTE: Make sure that the purge tower is the first object printed on the pause layer because it is the one that needs to absorb the blank space. If you don't do this then you will run the risk of getting an ugly gap in your model where it was paused. This makes the model both less cosmetically pleasing and less structurally sound. Here is the settings I used.Filament: PLALayer height: .2 (recommended)Infill: 15-20%
