Pyboard Datalogger

Pyboard Datalogger

I've got a plan for a battery-powered data logger using a PyBoard and DHT11 sensor. The battery usage is so low that it can be left in a remote spot for at least a month before the batteries need recharging. The box has been cobbled together from at least four different things on Thingiverse. The outer case is a resized version of this RAMPS box, while the battery pack comes from this flexible battery holder with the bottom cut off. The PyBoard tray is based on this thing, with a coin cell holder attached to the end. A CR1632 coin cell provides backup power to keep the PyBoard's real-time clock running when the main battery pack or USB power aren't connected. For construction details, check out Look Think Make.
