Pxmalion Corei3 Prusa style X carriage upgrade is now complete, featuring a Y belt holder for the bed. To use it with a Prusa style extruder, the bed needs to be raised slightly due to the stock Z endstop. A custom spacer was designed to fit under the springs and secured with 45mm M4 screws. The Corei3 is now printing exceptionally well, thanks to numerous mods that have been implemented. Further upgrades are unlikely, but an E3D Bowden style mount for this carriage will be added soon. Any extruder bolted to a Prusa x carriage will work just fine. Upgrades that made the biggest impact include: * 24v 10a power supply upgrade * KFL08 on the Z slave plate upgrade * Lm8uu bearings replace stock bushings for smoother motion * X Carriage upgrade with Y Belt Holder for bed * 24v 95w film heater for the stock bed, allowing for heating to 90C+ * E3D hotend installation The extruder used is a modified version of the stock Corei3 parts, requiring a spring replacement.
