A battery adapter fits SR44 camera battery to PX625 mercury battery perfectly in size. The voltage is reduced by a Schottky diode inside the adapter. Insert one end of the wire into the diode slot on the adapter, twisting it to fit snugly into the cavity, connecting to the negative SR44 battery terminal. Since this diode is forward-biased, this end should have a mark. Twist and hang the other diode end over the top of the battery. Additionally, you can use conductive adhesive metal sheet on the adapter's top to secure the wire and enhance quality and appearance. Verify diode polarity for accurate connection.
