PWM Fan Temp Controller
prusaprinters

This is a housing I created for my 12v PWM temperature fan controller, ZFC39. I also used a standard 5.5mm x 2.1mm 12v female connector with screw terminals. The case requires 4 M3x5mm screws to secure. I created it to mount and control the exhaust fans in my 3D printer enclosure.

Update: I split the objects into individual files. I have added mount for the piezo buzzer in both top case configurations. Finally I've added a third slot for a 3 fan configuration.

Notes: I recommend assembling the case starting with the top cover and inserting the electronics into it first. It is also helpful to clean the holes and pre-thread them by driving an M3 screw through each of the holes. Also the gap along the back right screw well is unfortunate. It is due to the lack of space between the third fan header and the size of the head of the M3 screws I used. This could possibly be corrected with a smaller screw size. However it doesn’t affect the integrity of the case and remains secure.

Print Settings

Printer Brand:

Prusa

Printer:

i3 MK3

Rafts:

No

Supports:

No

Resolution:

0.15mm

Infill:

20%

Notes:

Material: Printed with Filaments.ca EconoFil White PLA

Category: Hobby
