Adapter for PWK 30 Carburetors to fit Ural/Dnepr Motorcycles. The Carburetor is pressed into the adapter and secured with a screw, sealed by high-temperature Silicone. Older vertical carb mountings like M62 M72 k750 can also use this adapter; simply press the carb into position. Chinese knock-off carbs are surprisingly reliable, offer better fuel economy, and improved startup behavior compared to Russian Ural/Dnepr carbs. The RAR archive includes a SketchUp file, an STL file, and a Fusion 360 file (STL imported into Fusion). How-to: 1. CNC the Adapter from Aluminum or Brass. 2. Verify measurements to ensure a proper fit on the cylinder head. 2.1 Use original carburetor measurements; however, if necessary, use 240 grit sandpaper to smooth out the adapter's interior for a tight fit. 3. Apply high-temperature gasket silicone to the adapter's inner lip and upper inner walls. 4. Position the adapter and carb together under a press or in a vice, pressing the carb into the adapter slowly. 4.1 Clean up excess silicone that is pressed out. 5. (Optional extra safety) Drill a hole through the side of the carb and adapter, cutting an M3 thread. 5.1 Shorten an M3 screw to fit flush with the inside of the carb. 6. Apply red Loctite (263) to the M3 screw and screw it in, allowing 24 hours for complete cure time. Have fun riding your Russian War Horse!
