PVC Wall Hanger for Coats and Shoes

PVC Wall Hanger for Coats and Shoes

I wanted to utilize my spare wood and 3/4 inch PVC pipe, so I created this small hanger mount. It is thick enough to be printed in PLA or even resin for light-duty use. Cut a 3-inch to 4-inch piece of PVC pipe and friction-fit it onto the fitting. If it's too tight or too loose, simply scale the print up or down by one or two percent. Use flat-top, countersunk screws to fasten into wood or drywall. Make sure to screw into studs or wall anchors if mounting to drywall. It is designed for wood screws up to #10 in size, or M4 for our metric friends. It is not designed for heavy-duty applications...just shoes and coats. The medium and large sizes are for those who do not have easy access to 3/4 inch PVC and simply want to 3D print the entire hanger. The plate must be made larger to accommodate outer screw holes.
