PVC Pipe Spool Holder
thingiverse
I designed a holder for my Hatchbox filament using SolidWorks so I wouldn't have to buy additional PVC couplings. It's specifically made for an 11/16" ID PVC pipe, which I already had on hand. All necessary SolidWorks Assembly files are included in case you need to make adjustments. The print list is short: * Two Bottom parts * Two Side parts That's it! Cut the PVC to size and secure the bottom mount to a piece of plywood with 1/8" screws. UPDATE 3/22/16 My attempts at printing the parts failed because my printer was slightly off-kilter, not because of any issue with the prints themselves. To address this, I created new parts that use 5/16" steel rod instead. These new parts are titled "BottomNew", "SideNew", and "SideNew2". The SideNew part holds everything securely in place, while the SideNew2 part is a bit looser. You can assemble the holder just like before!
