Screw Connection with Hose Adapter 38mm for PVC Ball Valve DN 40 D50 - 1 1/2 Inches To drain the collection tank, you need to attach a different hose to the ball valve. Since I only have a 38mm spiral hose available, I designed this screw connection. Important note: The screw threads on the ball valves from various manufacturers are not identical! For my supplier, the thread pitch was 4mm and the thread diameter was approximately 1.8mm.
