PVC Filament Rack

<p>This is a filament rack that you can make using some PVC pipe. </p><ul><li>Materials required <ul><li>Pvc Pipe</li><li>Printed files</li><li>Dry wall anchors</li><li>Screws</li><li>Drill</li><li>Drill bit(s) the size of the Dry wall Anchors</li><li>Screwdriver, a right angle screw driver helps get the screws in but is not necessary</li></ul></li><li>Printing<ul><li>Print out the “FillimentRackBracket” file <ul><li>I recommend printing out 3 so that you can have two on the ends of the pipe and one in the middle for added support. </li><li>Printed at 30% infill and 0.2 Layer height.</li></ul></li><li>Print the “FilimentRackHanger” file<ul><li>Print as many of these as the amount of filament spools your planning to store.</li><li>Printed at 30% infill and 0.2 Layer height.</li></ul></li></ul></li><li>Assembly<ul><li>Start by finding some ¾ inch PVC pipe. To be sure you have the correct pipe you can measure it with some calipers. The correct pipe should have about a 27mm outside diameter.</li><li>The length of the pipe depends on the location your installing it and how much Filament your planning to store. This is completely up to you, just remember that if it is really long you may want to print more brackets to brace it in the middle.</li><li>To put the brackets up start by using a level to and line up each of the brackets on the wall. Using a pencil, mark each of the holes on the wall. </li><li>Then Drill out the holes using a drill bit the size of the drywall anchors you have chosen to use.</li><li>Push in the anchors using your hand or a hammer.</li><li>Then screw the brackets into the anchors, Make sure not to over tighten as it could damage the 3d print.</li><li>After this slide the PVC pipe in.</li><li>Then if you have 3 brackets next to the middle bracket add a screw on each side so that the PVC pipe doesn't move around.
